An early season

An early season

Some people have pots of bulbs they think may be over by the time of the first spring shows in mid March. It is not just bulbs. The photo shows some alpines, mainly saxifrages, a couple of dwarf rhododendrons and a few bulbs including Fritillaria raddeana, which are unlikely to last until 17 March the first show I hope to attend. The Scottish Gardeners’ Forum website has a list of shows under Events towards the end of the latest Newsletter.
