Wind and slugs!

In order to protect blooms from possible damage when the gales sprang up George decided to put some pots into the shelter of the fence below a birch tree, as the pots by the house had previously been flattened by the wind.Not such a sheltered spot after all

Nevetheless in the morning George found the pots had been swirled and blown and were lying flat. On top of that a charming little slug decided to cash in on the bonus of delicious petals now available at ground level.
