Gordon Murdoch – a gardener at Logan Botanic Garden receives recognition

Gordon Murdoch started work on the Logan Estate just before the estate was split and Logan Botanic Garden established as part of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

During the past 45 years he has worked under three Curators and has fulfilled many roles including taking charge of the annual propagation work, helping establish the current shelter belts, assisting with planting out the antipodean woodland plantings and been an integral part of the Walled Garden improvements that have happened continuously over the years. gordon murdoch

A deserving recipient of recognition from the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society.
