Recognition for Scottish gardeners at the Caley AGM.

AGMs can be dull – but not the Caley AGM.  After a year of increasing activity it was a good time to stop for a moment and look back but also a time to celebrate Scotland’s horticultural expertise and gardening skills. Last night also had the added element of a the handover of the Presidency from Pam Whittle to David Knott.

But the highlight of the evening is always the presentation of awards.  A few years ago David Knott received a  Scottish Horticultural Medal (SHM) for his own outstanding contribution to Scottish Horticulture, a highly acclaimed award that is strictly limited.
